Job Summary

 Alliance Inspection Management (AiM) is the premier new and pre-owned vehicle inspection partnership in North America that combines breakthrough technology with deep industry experience to provide a trustworthy, independent bridge between buyers and sellers. We offer a comprehensive range of vehicle inspection services to verify the condition of new, off-lease and fleet vehicles and other properties at vehicle assembly plants, rail yards, ports, customers’ homes, dealers and auctions.

Due to its success and excellent service, AiM is rapidly growing, and its Sales & Marketing Division now seeks a National Sales Director that will lead and oversee AiM’s sales growth and retention in its major used and rental car vehicle inspection markets. The National Sales Director will be one of several national directors that report directly to the Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing regarding specifically assigned revenue channels. In general, the primary role of the National Sales Director will to be develop and foster relationships with current and potential clients in order to maintain and grow revenue in their respective sales channel. To do so, the National Sales Director will be expected to be or become an expert in AiM’s used and rental car vehicle inspection products and services in order to help current and future clients by (1) identifying the products/services that best address their needs and (2) ensuring superlative customer support of those products and services.

 

A successful candidate will be able to interact with mid to high level corporate clients, manage multiple corporate accounts, provide the corporate clients with expertise and coordinated support of AiM’s products and services, and consult with those clients regarding additional product and service needs.

 

Essential Job Functions

 –Manages client accounts by providing expertise and coordinated support for AiM’s used and rental car vehicle inspection products and services.
-Takes lead sales roll in sales channel reviews and account presentations 

-Fully immersed into the category to understand product segment gaps and opportunities.
-Successfully interface with the client and AiM’s various internal departments to ensure flawless operational support
-Identifies promotional opportunities and assists to develop product solutions to secure those opportunities
-Identify successful product strategies and work with AiM’s various internal departments to develop new products to support.
-Identify products to target for replacement and develop transition plans.
-As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative
-Light to frequent travel (about 25 to 50%).
-Regular and consistent availability and attendance.

Minimum Qualifications

The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.

  1. -Job Knowledge and Skill Car industry and/or comprehensive knowledge of inspection/remarketing products and/or services preferred.
  2. -Experience: Two to seven or more years of comprehensive professional experience in a related field.
  3. -Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; MBA preferred.Will consider equivalent related college or technical courses, seminars, industry related experience.
  4. -Computer Skills: Working knowledge of power point, word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, ability to adapt to new technology as it becomes available.
  5. -Communication Skills:Ability to excel in a team environment required. Must be able to successfully interface with operations, customer service, logistics, IT, product development and quality departments
  6. -Analytical Skills:Strong analytical skills required with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to source, disseminate and properly apply secondary research

Compensation:

  1. Salaried/exempt – TBD depending on experience and/or education;
  2. Included within the National Sales Director bonus program as defined by Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing
  3. Benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  4. Includes a Company Vehicle
