  1. SummarySeeking a Human Resource Assistant to manage AIM’s national recruiting and new hire process.  The company is expanding rapidly, having grown from 658 personnel one year ago to 848 currently.  The candidate should have experience in human resource recruiting or alternatively, a college degree.
  2. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRegular, onsite attendanceCandidate Recruiting – Receive hiring requests from Area Managers and Regional Directors; post jobs on AIM website, Monster, CareerBuilder and Craig’s List, as appropriate.  Screen resumes received and forward to hiring manager for further evaluation.  Prepare weekly report listing all positions AIM is actively recruiting.

    Candidate Pipeline – Upon request from hiring manager, the HR Assistant directs candidates to ADP Candidate Link for further screening (Background, Drug Test, Motor Vehicle Review).  When screening results are returned, HR Assistant notifies hiring manager if candidate is ”Eligible” or “Not Eligible” for hire.  Prepare weekly report listing all active candidates in pipeline.

    New Hire Setup – If hiring manager makes an offer to candidate, and candidate accepts, hiring managers forward a completed New Hire Packet to HR Assistant.  HR Assistant enters the new hire into HRB, which commences the process of setting up the new employee on AIM Payroll.

    Litigation Support – Assist General Counsel/ Director of HR and CFO with preparation of files, work papers and other documentation required for employee litigation matters.

    Other – Other duties within the finance, human resources and administrative functions as assigned.

An Auction Inspector performs multiple used vehicle inspections daily at a fixed auction site.  The inspections focus on detecting damage, missing parts and mechanical issues. Inspections are performed in compliance with the client’s inspection routine and guidelines. All inspections are performed using a mobile device equipped with proprietary inspection software.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Used vehicle Inspection

  • Perform a thorough and accurate inspection of each vehicle’s condition.
  • Identify all damage, missing parts and mechanical problems while performing an inspection of the interior, exterior, trunk area, engine compartment and undercarriage of the vehicle.
  • Inspector must make objective decisions based on a defined set of inspection guidelines.
  • All findings will be recorded in a mobile device using proprietary inspection software. Other tools to be used include digital camera, tread depth measuring gauge, etc.

 

Other– Perform other related duties as requested including but not limited to locating and moving vehicles.

Title: Director, Major Accounts

Reports to: Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing

 

  1. Summary

     

    The Director, Major Accounts is responsible for the development and implementation of long-term profitable sales growth through new and repeat business.  The Director will execute an aggressive sales effort to ensure identification, qualification, pursuit and closing of profitable used car, new car and auction inspection business. 

     

  2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    New Business- Identify, quote, negotiate and close business in accordance with company objectives and practices. Define targeted customer accounts in collaboration with SVP Sales & Marketing and CEO.  Ensure new sales contracts safeguard AIM’s interests and achieve best possible price for AIM, while satisfying agreed-upon customer expectations.  Use Salesforce.com to maintain and report to management on sales pipeline, prospective customers and results of new business development.

     

    Repeat Business- Negotiate national agreements with existing key customers (Union Pacific, CSX, Glovis, Tokio Marine, CP, CN etc.)  Generally, we should have written agreements in place with customers we bill $100k or more per year.

     

    Customer Satisfaction- Work closely with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction through timely and high quality service delivery.

     

    Pricing- Work closely with the SVP Sales & Marketing and CFO to manage AIM’s pricing policies, including payment terms and incentive discounts.  With the assistance of the Finance team, the Director will develop reports to track revenue and gross margin for key customers.  The Director will also assist with collections from material past due accounts.

     

    Manage Changes in Customer Service Levels- Oversee and participate in change control.  In conjunction with SVP Sales & Marketing, obtain customer approvals and commitments to pay for service and system changes as well as pricing and approvals for new work and special projects. 

     

    Market Intelligence- Provide market intelligence to the management team, IT and Dispatch to help refine and improve the company’s service offerings, with the objective of attracting and retaining high value customers and ensuring high value sales growth. 

     

    Budgets & Forecasts- Assist the management team with development of annual revenue budget by customer.  Develop and present an annual sales and marketing plan to the management team, including assessment and evaluation of competition.

     

    Presentations- Prepare and attend trade shows and make promotional presentations as required.

Field Service Manager/Vehicle Inspector

Title: Field Services Manager (FSM)

Reports to: Area Manager

I. Summary

This is an exciting, challenging and highly visible position.  The AiM Field Services Manager (FSM) conducts mobile, used vehicle inspections within a designated geographical area. The FSM will perform a variety of different inspections ranging from off‰Ûlease vehicles at a lessee’s home or business to major damage vehicles on behalf of an insurance provider.  The FSM will also be cross-trained to perform dealer floor plan audits on behalf of automobile finance companies.

The FSM must maintain high ethical/company standards and policies when conducting inspections and audits on behalf of AiM. All FSMs are provided with a company vehicle, equipped with GPS technology, subject to satisfactorily meeting all AiM standards/requirements upon being offered a position.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Vehicle inspections – Drives to locations such as homes, offices, and other fixed sites to perform used vehicle inspections. An FSM must accurately assess vehicle condition, estimate value of required repairs (using Audatex damage estimating software), document findings in a condition report, and transmit completed reports after each inspection.

  • Dealer Floor Plan Audits –The FSM will be cross-trained to perform dealer floor plan audits based on geographical area and need. The FSM will be responsible for a physical count of vehicles, in addition to an audit of dealer’s records including the sale, disposition and proceeds of the vehicles in question. The FSM will be responsible for reconciling dealer and AiM customer physical counts, and in some cases, facilitating payment from dealer to the finance company.

  • Performance Expectations – Document and record vehicle damages, utilizing proprietary inspection and damage estimating software with laptop computer and digital camera. The FSM will be expected to electronically report status of his/ her assignments during the day using AiM’s proprietary scheduling and routing software in order to maintain high productivity each work day.

  • Customer Engagement The FSM will be the front line in regards to face-to-face interaction with AiM’s clients including their dealers and lessees. This position will require an increased level of customer service skills combined with a heightened sense of professionalism.

  • Other – Perform additional duties as required by the Company. Make continuous recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

On occasion Field Services Managers may be asked to train new hire FSMs and supervise group dealer audits.

  • Dealer Floor Plan Audits –The FSM will be cross-trained to perform dealer floor plan audits based on geographical area and need. The FSM will be responsible for a physical count of vehicles, in addition to an audit of dealer’s records including the sale, disposition and proceeds of the vehicles in question. The FSM will be responsible for reconciling dealer and AiM customer physical counts, and in some cases, facilitating payment from dealer to the finance company.
  • Performance Expectations – Document and record vehicle damages, utilizing proprietary inspection and damage estimating software with laptop computer and digital camera. The FSM will be expected to electronically report status of his/ her assignments during the day using AiM’s proprietary scheduling and routing software in order to maintain high productivity each work day.
  • Customer Engagement The FSM will be the front line in regards to face-to-face interaction with AiM’s clients including their dealers and lessees. This position will require an increased level of customer service skills combined with a heightened sense of professionalism.
  • Other – Perform additional duties as required by the Company. Make continuous recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

On occasion Field Services Managers may be asked to train new hire FSMs and supervise group dealer audits.

  • Experience working independently or with limited supervision

  • Good driving record with no more than one moving violation in the last three years
  • Must be 21 years or over due to car rental regulations

Field Service Manager/ Vehicle Inspector

Title: Field Services Manager (FSM)

Reports to: Area Manager

I. Summary

This is an exciting, challenging and highly visible position.  The AiM Field Services Manager (FSM) conducts mobile, used vehicle inspections within a designated geographical area. The FSM will perform a variety of different inspections ranging from off‰Ûlease vehicles at a lessee’s home or business to major damage vehicles on behalf of an insurance provider.  The FSM will also be cross-trained to perform dealer floor plan audits on behalf of automobile finance companies.

The FSM must maintain high ethical/company standards and policies when conducting inspections and audits on behalf of AiM. All FSMs are provided with a company vehicle, equipped with GPS technology, subject to satisfactorily meeting all AiM standards/requirements upon being offered a position.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Vehicle inspections – Drives to locations such as homes, offices, and other fixed sites to perform used vehicle inspections. An FSM must accurately assess vehicle condition, estimate value of required repairs (using Audatex damage estimating software), document findings in a condition report, and transmit completed reports after each inspection.
