Hours: 7:00 am-12:00 pm, Must be open to work any day of the week

Salary: $10.00-13.00/hour (Dependent Upon Experience)

I. Summary

Conducts quality assurance/transportation vehicle inspection activities at designated locations. Performs uniform, consistent inspections on newly manufactured vehicles. Maintains and adheres to company standards for all inspections, using hand held scanning device, writing implement, and other required equipment and supplies. Ensures timely transmission of inspection results on a daily basis.

 

II. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

New Vehicle inspections

  • Performs new vehicle inspections from various car manufacturers for minor/ major impact damages, vandalism, factory defects, restraint failure damages, accidents, weather related damages and damages incurred during the transportation process.
  • Document and code damages as they are found and provide damage verification codes for trucking companies prior to the vehicles being delivered to the car dealerships.
  • Able to complete inspections in demanding outdoor environments and fast paced, multi-organization facilities.
  • Responsible for quality of inspections, consistency of standards, performance of data transmission, and timeliness of inspections.
  • Ability to interpret and make analytical inspection decisions based on a defined set of guidelines applied to new vehicles. Inspections may occur on the grounds, or on board rail cars.
  • Damage Reports
  • Documents and records vehicle damages, utilizing a handheld computer and digital camera. Ability to identify physical auto damage; assist in conducting root-cause analysis of transportation related damage. Renders routine oral and written reports of inspection results as required. All files are to be transmitted upon completion of the inspection. Perform other related duties as requested, including but not limited to locating vehicles and boarding rail cars and ships.

I. Summary
On a daily basis, an Auto Damage Auction Inspector performs multiple inspections on used vehicles at a fixed auction site. The auction inspector is assigned to a single site, whereat he/she focuses on detecting damage, missing parts, and mechanical issues on vehicles being sold at the auction site. Inspections are performed in compliance with the client’s inspection routine and guidelines. All inspections are performed using a mobile device equipped with proprietary inspection software.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Used vehicle Inspection• Perform a thorough and accurate inspection of each vehicle’s condition.
    • Identify all damage, missing parts and mechanical problems while performing an inspection of the interior, exterior, trunk area, engine compartment and undercarriage of the vehicle.
    • Inspector must make objective decisions based on a defined set of inspection guidelines.
    • All findings will be recorded in a mobile device using proprietary inspection software. Other tools to be used include digital camera, tread depth measuring gauge, etc.
    • Inspections will take place outdoors at a large auction facility.
    • Regular Attendance and Availability is mandatory.

    Other- Perform other related duties as requested including but not limited to locating and moving vehicles.

Job Description

Title: Auto Damage Field Inspector
Reports to: Area Manager

I. Summary
This is an exciting, challenging and highly visible position. The AiM Auto Damage Field Inspector conducts mobile, used vehicle inspections within a designated geographical area. The field inspector will perform a variety of different inspections ranging from off‐lease vehicles at a lessee’s home or business to major damage vehicles on behalf of an insurance provider. The field inspector will also be cross-trained to perform dealer floor plan audits on behalf of automobile finance companies.

The field inspector must maintain high ethical/company standards and policies when conducting inspections and audits on behalf of AiM. All field inspectors are provided with a company vehicle, equipped with GPS technology, subject to satisfactorily meeting all AiM standards/requirements upon being offered a position.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Vehicle inspections – The field inspector drives to locations such as homes, offices, and other fixed sites to perform used vehicle inspections. A field inspector must accurately assess vehicle condition, estimate value of required repairs (using damage estimating software), document findings in a condition report, and transmit completed reports after each inspection.
Dealer Floor Plan Audits -The field inspectors will be cross-trained to perform dealer floor plan audits based on geographical area and need. The field inspectors will be responsible for a physical count of vehicles, in addition to an audit of dealer’s records including the sale, disposition and proceeds of the vehicles in question. The field inspectors will be responsible for reconciling dealer and AiM customer physical counts, and in some cases, facilitating payment from dealer to the finance company.
Performance Expectations – Document and record vehicle damages, utilizing proprietary inspection and damage estimating software with laptop computer and digital camera. The field inspectors will be expected to electronically report status of his/ her assignments during the day using AiM’s proprietary scheduling and routing software in order to maintain high productivity each work day.
Customer Engagement – The field inspectors will be the front line in regards to face-to-face interaction with AiM’s clients including their dealers and lessees. This position will require an increased level of customer service skills combined with a heightened sense of professionalism.
Other – Perform additional duties as required by the Company. Make continuous recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.

Reports to: SVP, Operations

Summary

Alliance Inspection Management (AiM) is the premier new and pre-owned vehicle inspection partnership in North America that combines breakthrough technology with deep industry experience to provide a trustworthy, independent bridge between buyers and sellers. We offer a comprehensive range of vehicle inspection services to verify the condition of new, off-lease, fleet vehicles and other properties; all located at vehicle assembly plants, rail yards, ports, customers’ homes, dealers and auctions.

Due to its success and excellent service, AiM is rapidly growing, and its Operations Department is now seeking an energetic, self-motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join the operations department as a Quality and Operations Control Manager. This position is primarily responsible for managing the productivity, efficiency and quality for all of AiM’s operations. A significant portion of the responsibilities will include the review and analysis of data through a variety of systems including AiM’s Business Intelligence tool, excel spreadsheets and the scheduling and routing system used by AiM.

The Quality and Operations Control Manager will be expected to manage a group of people assigned to monitor/evaluate employee performance and their deliverables. The Quality and Operations Control Manager will require effective communication skills in all aspects of their day-to-day responsibilities. The position will be highly driven by analytical data obtained through AiM’s business intelligence software. The ideal candidate will be capable of interpreting the data in order to identify potential opportunities for improvement.

  • Analytical – Review and analyze data derived from different systems and reports to identify opportunities for improvement both in vehicle inspection operations and training with the inspectors. Produce reports that identify those opportunities in detail and why AiM should consider them as an important part of its growth and improvement initiatives.
  • Presentation– The selected candidate will be expected to have the ability to create a presentation of their findings and present them to upper management. Familiarity with presentation tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint as well as the ability to speak in front of a room of professional senior management will be essential in this role.

Due to its success and excellent service, AiM is rapidly growing, and its Sales/Marketing Division now seeks a National Director of Marketing that will head, oversee, and help develop AiM’s marketing division. The National Director of Marketing will report directly to the Sr. Vice President of Sales/Marketing concerning all marketing matters related to AiM’s various sales channels. In general, the primary role of the National Director of Marketing will to be develop and drive a disciplined marketing approach that will sustain competitive advantage, improved branding, and provide superior business results for AiM’s current and potential revenue streams.


A successful candidate will be self-motived, able to work independently, and yet capable of collaborating with AiM’s various other divisions in collectively developing and delivering superlative products and services to AiM’s clients and best position AiM for future growth.

 Assume overall responsibility for developing the short and long-term marketing plans for AiM.

Responsible for recommending/reviewing market research and customer trends analyses to uncover actionable insights that will drive the targeting, positioning, messaging, tactics and overall business results.

Lead development of marketing solutions to address business challenges (e.g. shift in marketing channel mix, refreshed messaging, etc.).

Maintain and utilize a deep understanding of marketing principles; develop and utilize a thorough understanding of the dynamics that are shaping the vehicle inspection landscape in order to synthesize the external environment, brand strategies, and leverage existing resources to yield the greatest possible positive impact on business performance.

Develop ongoing liaison with key customers and industry leaders to monitor and determine AiM’s performance, placement, and potential in the market.

Light to frequent travel (about 10 to 30%).

Regular and consistent availability and attendance.

Minimum Qualifications

Job Knowledge and Skill Car industry and/or comprehensive knowledge of inspection/remarketing products and/or services preferred, but not necessary.
Experience: Two to seven or more years of comprehensive marketing experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; MBA preferred.
Computer Skills: Professional knowledge of power point and other marketing software, as well as a working knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, and other PC applications; ability to adapt to new technology as it becomes available.
Communication Skills:

  1. Ability to excel in a team environment required. Must be able to successfully interface with customer service, finance, IT, legal, operations, and quality departments.
  2. Analytical Skills:

Strong branding skills, including brand essence/equity development and increasing brand value through functional and emotional development and communication.

National Sales Director New Car /Claims Management

The National Sales Director will be one of several national directors that report directly to the Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing regarding specifically assigned revenue channels. In general, the primary role of the National Sales Director will to be develop and foster relationships with current and potential clients in order to maintain and grow revenue in their respective sales channel. To do so, the National Sales Director will be expected to be or become an expert in AiM’s new car vehicle inspections and claims management products and services in order to help current and future clients by (1) identifying the products/services that best address their needs and (2) ensuring superlative customer support of those products and services.

A successful candidate will be able to interact with mid to high level corporate clients, manage multiple corporate accounts, provide the corporate clients with expertise and coordinated support of AiM’s products and services, and consult with those clients regarding additional product and service needs.

-As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
