Title: Auto Damage Field Inspector

Reports to: Area Manager

 

  1. Summary

This is an exciting, challenging and highly visible position. The AiM Auto Damage Field Inspector conducts mobile, used vehicle inspections within a designated geographical area. The field inspector will perform a variety of different inspections ranging from off‐lease vehicles at a lessee’s home or business to major damage vehicles on behalf of an insurance provider. The field inspector will also be cross-trained to perform dealer floor plan audits on behalf of automobile finance companies.

The field inspector must maintain high ethical/company standards and policies when conducting inspections and audits on behalf of AiM. All field inspectors are provided with a company vehicle, equipped with GPS technology, subject to satisfactorily meeting all AiM standards/requirements upon being offered a position.

 

  1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Vehicle inspections – The field inspector drives to locations such as homes, offices, and other fixed sites to perform used vehicle inspections. A field inspector must accurately assess vehicle condition, estimate value of required repairs (using damage estimating software), document findings in a condition report, and transmit completed reports after each inspection.
  • Dealer Floor Plan Audits –The field inspectors will be cross-trained to perform dealer floor plan audits based on geographical area and need. The field inspectors will be responsible for a physical count of vehicles, in addition to an audit of dealer’s records including the sale, disposition and proceeds of the vehicles in question. The field inspectors will be responsible for reconciling dealer and AiM customer physical counts, and in some cases, facilitating payment from dealer to the finance company.
  • Performance Expectations – Document and record vehicle damages, utilizing proprietary inspection and damage estimating software with laptop computer and digital camera. The field inspectors will be expected to electronically report status of his/ her assignments during the day using AiM’s proprietary scheduling and routing software in order to maintain high productivity each work day.
  • Customer Engagement The field inspectors will be the front line in regards to face-to-face interaction with AiM’s clients including their dealers and lessees. This position will require an increased level of customer service skills combined with a heightened sense of professionalism.
  • Other – Perform additional duties as required by the Company. Make continuous recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

On occasion, field inspectors may be asked to train new hire field inspectors and supervise group dealer audits.

Seeking a Human Resource Assistant to manage AIM’s national recruiting and new hire process. The company is expanding rapidly, having grown from 658 personnel one year ago to over 1,100 currently. The candidate should have experience in human resource recruiting or, alternatively, a college degree.

Regular, mandatory onsite attendance

 

Candidate Recruiting – Receive hiring requests from Area Managers and Regional Directors; post jobs on AIM website, Monster, CareerBuilder and Craig’s List, as appropriate. Screen resumes received and forward to hiring manager for further evaluation. Prepare weekly report listing all positions AIM is actively recruiting.

 

Candidate Pipeline – Upon request from hiring manager, the HR Assistant directs candidates to ADP Candidate Link for further screening (Background, Drug Test, Motor Vehicle Review). When screening results are returned, HR Assistant notifies hiring manager if candidate is ”Eligible” or “Not Eligible” for hire. Prepare weekly report listing all active candidates in pipeline.

 

New Hire Setup – If hiring manager makes an offer to candidate, and candidate accepts, hiring managers forward a completed New Hire Packet to HR Assistant. HR Assistant enters the new hire into HRB, which commences the process of setting up the new employee on AIM Payroll.

 

Litigation Support – Assist General Counsel/ Director of HR and CFO with preparation of files, work papers and other documentation required for employee litigation matters.

 

Other – Other duties within the finance, human resources and administrative functions as assigned.

  1. Summary

The Area Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of AIM’s vehicle inspection (mobile inspection, auction inspection, new car inspection) and dealer floor plan audit operations within a designated geographical area. The Area Manager is responsible for the quality and efficiency of all work performed.

The Area Manager must have the ability to supervise multiple employees in several locations, and monitor/evaluate employee performance and deliverables. The Area Manager will require effective communication skills in their daily communications with subordinates in their assigned area, the area’s Regional Director, upper management/executives and, ultimately, AiM’s customers. The position will be highly driven by analytical data obtained through AiM’s business intelligence software. The ideal candidate will be capable of interpreting the data in order to identify potential opportunities for improvement.

The Area Manager is a customer-facing position, therefore, a level of sales acumen is desired. The ability to identify business opportunities and guide them to produce growth and revenue will be an important trait in this role.

  • Leadership – Supervise AiM employees that are conducting mobile inspections, dealer floor plan audits, auction inspections and new car inspections in their geographic area. New Car Auto Damage Inspector

I. Summary

 

Conducts quality assurance/transportation vehicle inspection activities at designated locations. Performs uniform, consistent inspections on newly manufactured vehicles. Maintains and adheres to company standards for all inspections, using hand held scanning device, writing implement, and other required equipment and supplies. Ensures timely transmission of inspection results on a daily basis.

 

II. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

New Vehicle inspections

•Performs new vehicle inspections from various car manufacturers for minor/ major impact damages, vandalism, factory defects, restraint failure damages, accidents, weather related damages and damages incurred during the transportation process.

•Document and code damages as they are found and provide damage verification codes for trucking companies prior to the vehicles being delivered to the car dealerships.

•Able to complete inspections in demanding outdoor environments and fast paced, multi-organization facilities.

•Responsible for quality of inspections, consistency of standards, performance of data transmission, and timeliness of inspections.

•Ability to interpret and make analytical inspection decisions based on a defined set of guidelines applied to new vehicles. Inspections may occur on the grounds, or on board rail cars.

•Damage Reports

•Documents and records vehicle damages, utilizing a handheld computer and digital camera. Ability to identify physical auto damage; assist in conducting root-cause analysis of transportation related damage. Renders routine oral and written reports of inspection results as required. All files are to be transmitted upon completion of the inspection. Perform other related duties as requested, including but not limited to locating vehicles and boarding rail cars and ships.

Payroll Coordinator

Job Description

Title: Payroll Coordinator
Reports to: Payroll Supervisor

I. Summary

The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Payroll Supervisor and AIM workforce in the maintenance and processing of ADP eTime and ADP Payex payroll records. This includes processing employee garnishments, employee payroll deductions (medical, dental, 401k, personal use of fleet vehicle) and manual checks. The Coordinator will also be part of the team to convert from ADP to UltiPro in early 2016.

Ultimately, the goal of the position will be to fully cross-train with the Payroll Supervisor and be able to perform all key payroll functions and respond to AiM employee inquiries in her absence.

II. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Regular, onsite attendance is mandatory.

Payroll processing — Maintain, monitor, and process ADP eTime and Payex records for AiM’s workforce. This includes the regular processing of payroll, monitoring timecards, resolving login issues, processing wage levy and garnishment documents; processing changes in employee payroll deductions (medical, dental, 401k, personal use of fleet vehicle); processing manual checks; processing direct deposits and researching ACH discrepancies; processing direct deposit and W4 changes; organizing and maintaining payroll documents and forms on ADP’s portal.

Quarterly – Provide payroll processing backup. Process one payroll each quarter or when Payroll Supervisor is absent. Assist Payroll Supervisor with payroll tax filings.

Year-end – Assist with yearend tasks including W2s

401k – Assist with tasks as requested including annual audit support

Special Projects – Assist Payroll Supervisor with analyses and reports of personnel, headcount and compensation data as requested.

Other – Other duties as assigned.

Planning and Strategy Analyst

Due to its success and excellent service, AiM is rapidly growing and now seeks a Strategy and Planning Analyst to develop systematic processes and models that improve AiM’s business planning and strategic initiatives across its international markets.   The Strategy and Planning Analyst will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will work with various department heads to define strategic analytical requirements and lead the design and implementation of tools that enable AiM to answer critical business questions. This role will be responsible for helping solve important business problems through deep data review, statistical analyses, and creation of analytical tools regarding, among other issues, car flow, pricing, risk assessment, customer assessment, and market share.

Title: Auto Damage Auction Inspector

Reports to: Auction Facility Lead or Auction Facility Manager

 

I. Summary
On a daily basis, an Auto Damage Auction Inspector performs multiple inspections on used vehicles at a fixed auction site. The auction inspector is assigned to a single site, whereat he/she focuses on detecting damage, missing parts, and mechanical issues on vehicles being sold at the auction site. Inspections are performed in compliance with the client’s inspection routine and guidelines. All inspections are performed using a mobile device equipped with proprietary inspection software.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Used vehicle Inspection• Perform a thorough and accurate inspection of each vehicle’s condition.
    • Identify all damage, missing parts and mechanical problems while performing an inspection of the interior, exterior, trunk area, engine compartment and undercarriage of the vehicle.
    • Inspector must make objective decisions based on a defined set of inspection guidelines.
    • All findings will be recorded in a mobile device using proprietary inspection software. Other tools to be used include digital camera, tread depth measuring gauge, etc.
    • Inspections will take place outdoors at a large auction facility.
    • Regular Attendance and Availability is mandatory.Other- Perform other related duties as requested including but not limited to locating and moving vehicles.

The Assistant HR Director will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and will work with various department heads in this regard. The Assistant Human Resources Director will be responsible for helping lead all human resource functions within our multi-site and multi-state organization. This role will be primarily responsible for helping manage the daily operations of the human resources office such as disciplinary issues, employee complaints, and terminations, as well as help manage employee benefit plans, workers’ compensation insurance, and FMLA matters.
