LONG BEACH, Calif. (May 9, 2016) — Alliance Inspection Management (AiM), a national independent third-party inspection company, has hired a new Vice President of Auction Operations. Effective May 2, 2016, Jeff Gaetz will oversee and manage all of AiM’s vehicle inspection operations at various auctions sites around the U.S. Gaetz’s responsibilities will also include managing AiMs nationwide network of auction inspections and operations as well as supporting customer relationships throughout the U.S. and Canada. In his role, he will also work to grow the business at fixed locations and work with the major consignors, auction companies and independent auctions to provide inspection services and technology solutions to meet the needs of buyers and sellers. Gaetz will report to Tom Gardner, Sr. Vice President of Operations.

Jeff Gaetz previous experience includes more than 20 years at Southern Auto Auction, where he last held the position of National Sales Manager. His primary focus was on nurturing national and regional accounts in the automotive, banking and finance industries. Gaetz holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Norwich University. Gaetz has also been employed by Eastern Powersports as Vice President and by Hertz Corporation as a Regional Car Sales Manager where he managed the retail, wholesale and special event operations in the Northeast. He developed the automotive auction industry’s first vehicle management solution, “Auction 2000.”
