AiM Hires New President & CEO

LONG BEACH, Calif. (Nov. 13, 2017) — Steve Lambert, an automotive remarketing and information technology leader, has been named president and CEO at Alliance Inspection Management (AiM), the leading national independent automotive inspection company. Lambert will take office in Long Beach, California on December 4.

Lambert, 56, comes to AiM with a mandate to strengthen the company’s core inspection and dealer floor plan audit businesses and scale the company for growth by developing new inspection services and products. In this role, Lambert will oversee all AiM operations, reporting to the board of directors.

“Steve is an accomplished business leader with proven experience in remarketing and information technology,” said Board Director and Senior Vice President of Manheim Vehicle Advantage Joe George. “Under his guidance, AiM will accelerate the growth of its offsite inspections, saving time and making it easier for dealers and consumers. Lambert joins AiM from Nissan North America Inc., where he served as vice president of Information Systems, overseeing all of Nissan’s information systems and services across the Americas. At Nissan, he was also president, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC) and responsible for all sales finance activity in North America, which included the oversight of Nissan Canada Finance and start-up Nissan Renault Finance Mexico.

Before joining Nissan in 1992, Lambert served as the head of sales, earnings and tax planning at Hughes Aircraft Company in El Segundo, California.

Lambert holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Brigham Young University (BYU) and a master’s degree in Business from BYU’s Marriott Graduate School of Management.

AiM Hires New Vice President of Auction Operations

LONG BEACH, Calif. (May 9, 2016) Alliance Inspection Management (AiM), a national independent third-party inspection company, has hired a new Vice President of Auction Operations. Effective May 2, 2016, Jeff Gaetz will oversee and manage all of AiM’s vehicle inspection operations at various auctions sites around the U.S. Gaetz’s responsibilities will also include managing AiMs nationwide network of auction inspections and operations as well as supporting customer relationships throughout the U.S. and Canada. In his role, he will also work to grow the business at fixed locations and work with the major consignors, auction companies and independent auctions to provide inspection services and technology solutions to meet the needs of buyers and sellers. Gaetz has also been employed by Eastern Powersports as Vice President and by Hertz Corporation as a Regional Car Sales Manager where he managed the retail, wholesale and special event operations in the Northeast.  He developed the automotive auction industry’s first vehicle management solution, “Auction 2000.”

Launching AiM Inspect OVE Android App

Long Beach, California – AiM is excited to announce the national release of AiM Inspect OVE, a mobile app to help our field service managers (FSMs) conduct Manheim OVE outside the gate inspections. AiM Inspect OVE runs on Active smartphones. It replaces InspeXmobile and Toughbooks for conducting OVE outside the gate inspections. The app is part of our continual transition to next generation technology to power our inspection professionals and the industry.

Inspections from the new app receive an AutoGrade, generate an InSight CR and automatically post on OVE.com. Features of the app include built-in Capture functionality, integrated photo capabilities and a user-friendly flat car interface for entering damages. The new app is being rolled-out in waves. FSMs will receive information shortly on next steps.

We are launching AiM CRM OVE in parallel with the roll-out of the Android app. AiM CRM OVE is a web-based app to help our dispatchers manage OVE inspection requests. It replaces the existing CRM for managing OVE inspection requests. The web-app is the first version of a new tool-set for dispatchers aimed at efficiency and superior service for our customers.
